{"id":8904,"date":"2022-01-20T20:12:25","date_gmt":"2022-01-20T20:12:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper-3-operation-manual-90379-3-copy\/system-operation-2\/start-up\/"},"modified":"2023-02-22T18:52:23","modified_gmt":"2023-02-22T18:52:23","slug":"start-up","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/seakeeper-3-operation-manual-rev4\/system-operation-2\/start-up\/","title":{"rendered":"2.2  Start Up"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Power On<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Energize <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 3 Battery Isolation Switch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energize <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 3 High Current DC Power Supply (12 VDC, 100 A).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energize the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 3 Low Current Power Input (12 VDC, 15 A).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energize 12 VDC Seawater Pump Power Input (If a fuse is supplied as overcurrent protection the pump will energize automatically).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When the low DC power is turned on, the 5&#8243; Touch Display and\/or MFD application will initialize and the Home screen will appear. The <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 3 can be powered on and controlled by either the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> Application or the 5&#8243; Touch Display.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With system energized, check the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> display for any ALARMS. If there are any ALARMS present, they must be addressed to proceed. Alarms must be acknowledged and reset at the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 5&#8243; Touch Display or MFD application. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/5-Inch-Display-Home-OFF-1-3000x1676.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10467\" width=\"512\" height=\"298\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"7\">\n<li>To turn the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> on, press the On\/Off button, the button will turn blue. The progress bar will appear and indicate how soon the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> will be available for stabilization. When the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> is initialized and up to minimum operating speed the Stabilize button will appear on the display or MFD application. At this point, the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> is available for stabilization.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/SK-2-French-Spool-Up.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3562\" width=\"512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/SK-2-French-Spool-Up.jpg 800w, https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/SK-2-French-Spool-Up-768x461.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"8\">\n<li>When the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> is initialized and up to Stabilization RPM the STABILIZE button will appear on the 5&#8243; Touch Display, and if using the MFD, the STABILIZE button will illuminate blue and pulsate in the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> Application. At this point, the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> is available for stabilization by pressing the STABILIZE button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/SK-2-Spanish-Stabilization-Available.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3577\" width=\"512\" height=\"283\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"9\">\n<li>The progress bar indicating flywheel spool-up will disappear from the display screen once the STABILIZE button is pressed (turns blue). At this point, the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> has reached its rated operating speed and maximum stabilization is available. If the STABILIZE button has not been pressed (button is gray), pressing the button will turn it blue and stabilization will be provided.
