The alarm must be addressed on the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> Application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The BRIGHTNESS button <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"40\" height=\"30\" class=\"wp-image-5226\" style=\"width: 40px;\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Brightness-Button.jpg\" alt=\"\"> on the ConnectBox will toggle through different brightness settings of the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> LED lights and the ConnectBox brightness. The ConnectBox and <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> lights can be set independently of each other by turning off the SYNC BRIGHTNESS Button on the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> App.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The WIRELESS button <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"40\" height=\"29\" class=\"wp-image-5266\" style=\"width: 40px;\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Wireless-Button.jpg\" alt=\"\"> is reserved for future functionality and is disabled at this time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Battery State of Charge Monitoring<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Traditional batteries have a near-linear discharge voltage curve; new Lithium batteries do not have the same voltage curve. This characteristic makes it difficult to determine the Lithium battery charge state. <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>s have used battery voltage depletion to initiate power ramp-downs to extend battery life. With Lithium batteries, battery voltage is no longer an accurate indicator for this function; the state of charge (SoC) NMEA 2000 signal is more accurate when available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> software uses the NMEA 2000 State of Charge (SoC) signal to initiate a power ramp-down when an NMEA 2000 SoC signal is available on the network\u2014the following guides in setting the Battery Monitoring Logic of the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access battery monitoring configuration by one of the following methods:<br>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Press and hold battery icon on home screen until configuration manager pop-up appears.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From SoC alert pop-up , press CONTINUE.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2079\" height=\"960\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/Batt-Monitor-Config-SoC.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16390\" style=\"width:510px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/Batt-Monitor-Config-SoC.png 2079w, https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/Batt-Monitor-Config-SoC-768x355.png 768w, https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/Batt-Monitor-Config-SoC-1536x709.png 1536w, https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/Batt-Monitor-Config-SoC-2048x946.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2079px) 100vw, 2079px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Battery icon on home screen<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1108\" height=\"273\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/SoC-signal-detected.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16391\" style=\"width:689px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/SoC-signal-detected.jpg 1108w, https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/SoC-signal-detected-768x189.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1108px) 100vw, 1108px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>State of Charge alert pop-up<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>On Battery Monitoring Configuration window, select the appropriate selection from the dropdown menu:<br>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>No Selection<\/em> \u2013 This is the default setting for the configuration manager.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Disabled<\/em> \u2013 Use voltage monitoring: This disables SoC logic and uses actual battery voltage to initiate powering back of the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> when battery voltage is low.<br><strong>NOTE: If <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> is NOT supplied by lithium batteries, this option should be selected.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Battery SoC from 0xE0 <\/em>\u2013 This option allows the user interface to monitor the NMEA 2000 network for the battery state of charge from a battery management system monitoring the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> battery bank. (<strong>recommended if lithium batteries are used to power the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>). <br><br>When selected, the Cut-off threshold slider will determine at what battery charge the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> begins powering back to conserve battery power.
