(16.5 mm) holes perpendicular to the vessel structure to a minimum depth of 1.2 in. (35 mm). <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Take special care to drill perpendicular to mounting surface.<\/mark> <\/strong>A drill guide is recommended. Remove any impeding obstructions.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap drilled holes for helical thread inserts per documentation accompanying helical threaded inserts.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Install eight (8) M16-2.0 X 24 mm threaded inserts into holes in hull structure at drilled and tapped locations using threaded insert manufacturer provided installation tool.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove threaded insert prong \/ tang after threaded inserts are installed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"222\" height=\"173\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/Helicoil.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18335\" style=\"width:342px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Through-Bolt Installation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Remove Template Fixture and drill eight (8) 0.670 in.
