_____ Optional 5″ Display (near helm)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connect Customer Supplied Cables<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seakeeper<\/span> Ground Cable <\/strong>(Customer supplied)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Install lugs on both ends of customer-supplied 10 AWG (6 mm2<\/sup>) ground cable<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect one end of ground cable to nearest vessel ground and other end to
Seakeeper<\/span> 14 rear brace<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connect Seakeeper<\/span> Supplied Cables<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Control Power Cable<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect control power cable from Seakeeper<\/span> to 24 VDC power at customer-
supplied connection box or directly to circuit breaker<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Plug connector of control power cable into mating connector on Seakeeper<\/span>
wire harness<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AC Input Cable<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect AC input cable from Drive Box to 230 VAC single phase at customer-
supplied connection box or directly to circuit breaker<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DC Seawater Pump Power Cable<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect DC seawater pump power input cable from Seakeeper<\/span> to
24 VDC \/10 A power at customer-supplied connection box or directly
to circuit breaker<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Plug connector of DC seawater pump power cable into mating connector
on Seakeeper<\/span> wire harness at DC SW Pump In<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DC Seawater Pump Output Cable<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect seawater pump output cable from DC SW Pump Out<\/em> to Y-Branch
SW Pump Output & Valve Cable<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect customer-supplied seawater pump and electric valve (P\/N 20762)
to Y-Branch SW Pump Output & Valve Cable<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MFD Ethernet Adapter Cable<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect male end of ethernet adapter cable to Ethernet<\/em> connection on
ConnectBox<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Route ethernet adapter cable to selected MFD compatibility cable towards
helm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect female end of ethernet adapter cable to MFD compatibility cable<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect MFD compatibility cable to MFD Display<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OPTIONAL Seakeeper<\/span> 5″ Display CAN Cable<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect female end of CAN communication cable to tee-adapter at
ConnectBox (at tee-adapter terminal resistor)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Route CAN communication cable to Seakeeper<\/span> 5″ display<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect male end of CAN communication cable to tee-adapter with
terminal resistor at 5″ display<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooling Checklist
(Reference Installation Manual Section: Cooling Installation)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

_____ Verify coolant level in coolant reservoir<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Connect seawater hoses \/ open sea cocks to heat exchanger and test
seawater pump<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Verify 4 GPM (15 LPM) minimum and 8 GPM (30 LPM) maximum seawater
flow through heat exchanger under all operating conditions of the boat<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start Up Checklist
(Reference Installation Manual Section: Start Up & Operation Manual Section: System Operation)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

_____ Remove lifting eyebolts and install cover panels<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Turn on 24 VDC circuit breakers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Turn on 230 VAC circuit breaker<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Verify display works and no ALARMS are present<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ If display does not work, turn off both circuit breakers immediately<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Follow instructions in Installation Manual Section: Start Up Instructions
to turn on the Seakeeper<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Verify seawater pump turns on while the Seakeeper<\/span> is turned ON. The
Seawater Pump operates intermittently when cooling is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Verify no ALARMS are present<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Follow instructions in Installation Manual Section: Startup Instructions
to turn off the Seakeeper<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ AC & DC power and seawater pump may be turned off after the Seakeeper<\/span>
is turned off by placing the Seakeeper<\/span> in LOCK mode and turning the
Seakeeper<\/span> off<\/p>\n\n\n\n

_____ Seakeeper<\/span> 14 takes 4+ hours to coast down to 0 RPM from full speed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
