(3 m) length, <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> supplied pre-installed.<br>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Locate 230 VAC Input Cable for AC power input to translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> Control Power, <strong>AND<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One 24 VDC, <strong>10 A<sup>*<\/sup><\/strong> (Customer supplied) for DC Seawater Pump.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A separate breaker should be used for each <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*<\/strong> Alternate seawater pump configuration for customer-supplied DC-powered seawater pump, 24 VDC at <strong>20 A<\/strong> maximum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>24 VDC, 10 A, 2 x 12 AWG (3 x 4.0 mm<sup>2<\/sup> CSA) customer supplied.<br>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Install <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> provided DC Power Input Cable, P\/N 20248 (as shown in <strong>Drawing No. 90859<\/strong>).<br>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Route 24 VDC Power Cable to DC Power Distribution Panel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Terminate positive (B+, Red ) conductor to +24 VDC. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Terminate negative (B-, Black) conductor directly to battery negative terminal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Before connecting cable to <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>, check for proper voltage and polarity with a DC multimeter using Figure 14 below.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect 24 VDC Input Cable to 24 VDC input receptacle on <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span><\/span> may cause internal failure.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Install Seawater Pump Input Cable (P\/N 20454) to <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 14 \u201cSW Pump VDC In\u201d (as shown in <strong>Drawing No. 90859<\/strong>) with overcurrent protection corresponding to seawater pump selected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect the 14 AWG positive conductor (Red) through dedicated overcurrent protection device (customer supplied), <strong>10 A<\/strong> (20 A maximum), to dedicated battery isolation switch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect the 14 AWG negative conductor (Black) directly to battery negative terminal or DC main negative bus bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Before connecting Seawater Pump Input Cable to <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span>, check for proper voltage and polarity with a DC multimeter using Figure 15 below.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"213\" class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DC Seawater Pump 24 VDC Power Output Connection Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connect Seawater Pump Output Cable to the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 14 \u201cSW Pump VDC Out\u201d for DC power to the seawater pump.<br>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Seawater Pump Output Cable is a 2 x 14 AWG cable, 16 ft (5m) length with a size 14 female Deutsch plug.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Install Y-Branch SW Pump Output &amp; Valve cable (P\/N 20658) to end of &#8220;SW Pump 24VDC Out&#8221; cable as shown in top image of Figure 17<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pumps rated at 24 VDC, 10 A maximum, customer-supplied, must be configured with a Deutsch DT series, 2-pin receptacle to mate with the connector shown in Figure 16.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full (P\/N 20658) (socket end).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect Y-branch cable plug end (socket end) to the customer-supplied receptacle end (pins end).
