In compliance with <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>\u2019s Privacy Policy, the Default Data Setting collects pertinent data and information relative to the installed <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> Unit. You are consenting to push such data and information for <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>\u2019s internal usage and for service interventions. You can turn off the Default Data Setting by going to the \u201cSettings Tab\u201d of the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> application on the boat\u2019s Multifunction Display (MFD).<br><br><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>\u2019s current Privacy Policy indicates that <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> Inc. and all its subsidiaries (collectively \u201c<span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>\u201d) collect, store, and use your personal information in connection with and to provide and develop <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>\u2019s products, mobile applications, services, and websites (together the \u201cService\u201d). Data collected directly from your <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> Unit includes, but is not limited to, the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Boat speed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course over ground<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Latitude\/Longitude (position)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accelerations (fore\/aft, up\/down, and side\/side)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Angles (roll, pitch, and yaw)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rates (roll, pitch, and yaw)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> metrics (System on\/off, enclosure position, and faults)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By providing us information or using or accessing the Service you give consent to the processing, use and disclosure of your <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> data and other content (\u201cUser Content\u201d). <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> without your consent, except as noted in its Privacy Policy located at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seakeeper.com\/privacy-policy\">https:\/\/www.seakeeper.com\/privacy-policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to some of the specific uses of information we describe in our Privacy Policy, we may use information that we receive to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage your customer relationship and provide you with customer support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help you efficiently access your information after you sign in<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide, improve, test, and monitor the effectiveness of our Service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and test new products and features<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diagnose or fix technology problems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enforce our terms and conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage our business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform functions as otherwise described to you at the time of collection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To set or change your Default&nbsp; Data Setting preference to deny sharing data, perform the following procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At your MFD display, <strong>OPEN<\/strong> the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NAVIGATE<\/strong> to the Settings page (gears icon).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PRESS <u>AND<\/u> HOLD<\/strong> the gears icon again until a second screen appears (Figure 4).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"821\" height=\"428\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/Privacy-selection-screen-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19333\" style=\"width:510px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/Privacy-selection-screen-1.png 821w, https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/wp-content\/uploads\/Privacy-selection-screen-1-768x400.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 821px) 100vw, 821px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em><strong>Figure 4:<\/strong> Hidden settings screen showing Data Logging tab<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>SELECT<\/strong> the <em>Data Logging<\/em> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SELECT<\/strong><em>Deny<\/em> option from the dropdown menu of Logger Data Export.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\">6.1.1 <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> Recreational Limited Warranty Policy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> warrants that the Goods sold hereunder are free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty starts from the earlier of the purchase date by the first end-user\/retail purchaser or the in-service date, and the warranty period is for the shorter of the following periods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>24 months (2 years) from date the Product is put into service, which shall conclusively be presumed to be the date of sale of a vessel on which the Product is installed, to a retail customer or date put into service on an existing vessel (refit), or <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2000 (two thousand) operating SEA hours, subject to verification and confirmation by SEAKEEPER, INC.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\">6.1.2 All <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> Models<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This warranty does not cover normal wear of the following components or the costs associated with maintenance, repair or replacement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Surface Corrosion (Cosmetic) on any component due to exposure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat Exchanger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brake Bushings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Isolation Bushings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Normal preventive and scheduled maintenance and component inspections\/replacements as specified in the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span>, Inc., Operation Manuals and any other Maintenance Schedule documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This express warranty is in lieu of and excludes: ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE (WHETHER KNOWN TO SELLER OR NOT), AND ALL OTHER SUCH WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED BY SELLER AND WAIVED BY CUSTOMER\/END USER. SEAKEEPER, INC. SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE TO ANY SPECIAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY OR OTHER OBLIGATION ARISING OUT OF THE SALE OF THE PRODUCTS, OR FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS OR ANY INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCTS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Written notice of claimed defects shall have been given to <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> within the Warranty Period, and within thirty (30) days from the date any such defect is first discovered. The Goods or parts claimed to be defective must be returned to <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>, accompanied by a Return Authorization (RA) issued by <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>&#8216;s facility responsible for supplying Goods, with transportation prepaid by Buyer\/User, with written specifications of the claimed defect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a warranty claim is valid, SEAKEEPER, INC. will repair or replace the Product, or part of the Product, proven to be defective, at its sole discretion, in a timeframe provided by SEAKEEPER, INC., on a reasonable best effort basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under no circumstances shall <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> be liable for removal of <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>&#8216;s Goods from Buyer&#8217;s\/User\u2019s equipment or re-installation into Buyer&#8217;s\/User\u2019s equipment. No person including any agent, distributor, or representative of <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> is authorized to make any representation or warranty on behalf of <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> concerning any Goods manufactured by <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\">6.1.3 Warranty Activation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A Warranty Registration must be fully completed and sent to <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>, Inc., for review, approval and registration upon delivery of the vessel to the first retail customer. Warranty registration and expiration date confirmation can be achieved by providing <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>, Inc., a copy of the original bill of sale, purchase agreement, Owner\u2019s name, address and <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> Stabilizer Serial Number along with current Run \/ Sea hours to <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>\u2019s warranty registration department within thirty (30) days of purchase. For removal of doubt, it is clarified that the activation date shall in no event affect the warranty period set forth herein. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOwner\u201d is defined as the first retail customer (purchaser), or subsequent customer (by transfer), of the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> Product as identified in <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> warranty registration(s).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The complete Seakeeper warranty details may be found on the Seakeeper website www.seakeeper.com.
