These covers should not be stepped on or have anything placed on top. The covers should always be in place during operation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color\">________________________________________________________________________________________<strong><strong><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"> <\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong><strong><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">If it is ever necessary to access the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> while the flywheel is spinning, the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> must be locked at the display to stop the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> from precessing. <\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">________________________________________________________________________________________<strong><strong><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"> <\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong><strong><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Stand clear of the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> and all moving components.<\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">________________________________________________________________________________________<strong><strong><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"> <\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong><strong><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">The unit may be started remotely. Assume it could move without warning.<\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">________________________________________________________________________________________<strong><strong><strong><mark><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"> <\/mark><\/mark><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>The following must be true before accessing the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> for maintenance or inspection:<\/strong><br><strong>     * Input power must be disconnected for at least 10 minutes<br>     * The <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> must be locked<br>     * Flywheel must be at zero speed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.2  Transport &amp; Unpacking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Reference Documents<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seakeeper.com\/technical-library\/?type=&amp;product=&amp;search=90946\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">90946 &#8211; <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 14 Unpacking Instructions<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.seakeeper.com\/technical-library\/?type=&amp;product=&amp;search=90945\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">90945 &#8211; <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 14 Packing List<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\">1.2.1  Transport<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use a <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> provided shipping crate for transport, <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">P\/N 13838<\/mark>. A fully packed crate has a weight of <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">2080 lbs (943.5 kg)<\/mark>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;10.5 crates can be stacked up to two (2) units high. Only like units should be stacked, i.e.,&nbsp;<span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;14 on top of a&nbsp;<span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;14<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both Air and Ground transport are acceptable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> shipping crates must be transported in environmental conditions between -4\u00b0F and 140\u00b0F (-20\u00b0C and 60\u00b0C).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:25px\">1.2.2  Unpacking Crate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reference <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> Drawing No. 90858 \u2013 <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 14 Hardware Scope of Supply for items that ship with the corresponding <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> model.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove covers, electrical components, display, cables, and misc. items and set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove packing materials that secure <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> assembly inside the crate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attach spreader bar (P\/N 81885) to the two lifting eyes located on the top of the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> enclosure. Stay clear of any other parts on the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span>. The <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> 14 weighs 1997 lbs (905.8 kg).
