(21 mm). <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Take special care to drill perpendicular to the mounting surface.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap drilled holes for M14-2.0 threaded inserts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Install twelve (12) M14-2.0 x 1.5 D (21 mm length) locking threaded inserts into holes in the hull structure at drilled and tapped locations using the threaded insert manufacturer&#8217;s installation tool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove the threaded insert prong\/tang after the threaded inserts have been installed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"346\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-18.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7667\" style=\"width:302px;height:174px\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em><strong>Figure 9<\/strong> &#8211; Threaded Insert<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Through-bolt Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove the Template Fixture and drill twelve (12) 0.59 IN.
