{"id":15532,"date":"2023-06-05T14:11:23","date_gmt":"2023-06-05T14:11:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/seakeeper-2-operation-manual\/system-overview\/cooling\/"},"modified":"2023-06-05T14:13:58","modified_gmt":"2023-06-05T14:13:58","slug":"cooling","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/seakeeper-2-operation-manual-rev2\/system-overview\/cooling\/","title":{"rendered":"Cooling"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cooling circuit is a closed loop that supplies a glycol\/water (50% distilled water and 50%glycol) mix to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The motor drive box to remove heat from the drive electronics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The brake manifold to remove heat from the brake hydraulic circuit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The enclosure water jackets to remove heat from the flywheel bearings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The heated fluid then passes through a heat exchanger that has seawater on the cold side. The seawater pump output will operate for two minutes after the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> is turned on. During operation, the seawater pump output is turned on and off based on the temperature of the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>. The circuit also contains a coolant reservoir for coolant expansion and to make filling easy.
