This voltage hazard exists even if the flywheel is coasting down, and the supply voltage has been shut off. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong><strong>The flywheel must be at Zero (0) RPM and DC input power disconnected for at least 10 minutes prior to any service work on the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>In the event of a power failure, the brake automatically locks the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> so it cannot generate anti-rolling torque loads. When a power failure occurs, it is important to identify the three sources of power to the <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> 4:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>12 VDC high current powers the Motor Drive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>12 VDC low current powers the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> control electronics, ConnectBox, and optional 5&#8243; Touch Display.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SW Pump 12 VDC input powers the seawater cooling pump.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Power is supplied via cables which are shown on Drawing No. 90699 \u2013 <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> 4 \/ 4.5 Cable Block Diagram.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Motor Connections should not be touched when the Seakeeper is Powered on, or the motor is running.
