{"id":12746,"date":"2023-02-28T16:17:42","date_gmt":"2023-02-28T16:17:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/seakeeper-26-20hd-installation-manual-90265-7-copy\/mechanical-installation\/saddle-installation\/installation-of-seakeeper\/"},"modified":"2023-03-01T14:09:22","modified_gmt":"2023-03-01T14:09:22","slug":"installation-of-seakeeper","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/seakeeper\/seakeeper-26-installation-manual-90265-8\/mechanical-installation\/saddle-installation\/installation-of-seakeeper\/","title":{"rendered":"2.5.6  Installation of Seakeeper"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rig <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> for lifting and lower it into position onto top surface of four saddles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjust position of the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> until alignment is achieved for the 32 fasteners that will attach the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> foundation frame to saddles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Install <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> supplied M16 fasteners as shown in figure below \u2013 <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">apply a moderate coat of nickel based anti-seize compound to the threads<\/span> of each bolt prior to installation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Torque all fasteners to 100 ft-lbs (136 N-m).<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply a small bead of sealant (silicone or caulk) around the perimeter of each isolation mount where it rests on the saddle.
