(Qty nine [9] for 525 Controllers and ten [10] for 750 Controllers.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thread in the top four (4) M6-1.0 x 30 mm Hex Head Bolts with M6 Washers to align the Seal Plate with the Wedge Pack Assembly, but&nbsp;<strong><u>do not tighten<\/u><\/strong>. There should be a gap between the top of the Seal Plate and the Wedge Pack Assembly. (Qty four [4] bolts for 525 Controllers and six [6] for 750 Controllers.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"968\" height=\"623\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/wp-content\/uploads\/750-Seal-Plate-Temporary-Installation-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14599\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/wp-content\/uploads\/750-Seal-Plate-Temporary-Installation-1.png 968w, https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/wp-content\/uploads\/750-Seal-Plate-Temporary-Installation-1-768x494.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 968px) 100vw, 968px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figure 68 \u2013 Seal Plate Temporary Installation<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>2. Using a straight edge, verify the Wedge Pack is flush with the hull bottom in the desired location as determined in Section 5. Be sure location requirements previously called out are met. Once the position is confirmed, remove the Seal Plate, and tighten the positioning screws with a Phillips head screwdriver. The screws must be tight enough to press out excess adhesive and keep the assembly from sagging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0In the uncommon case that the measured transom angles for the inboard and outboard sides of a Controller location (found in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/mechanical-installation-manual-750-1500-375a-and-525a\/6-measure-transom-angle\/6-1-measurement-steps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Section 6.1<\/a>) are greater than 2 degrees apart, tighten beginning on the side with the larger transom angle pulling it tight to the transom. On the side with the smaller transom angle, gently advance the screws but do not tighten it all the way to the transom. If the screws on the side of the smaller transom angle are overtightened, it can stress the fasteners and cause issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2.
