For Aluminum Hulls <span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span> Ride does <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">NOT<\/span> approve the use of epoxies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For aluminum hulls, use 80 grit sandpaper, a grinder, wire brush or a Dual Action sander to scuff the entire mounting surface to remove all coatings and oxidation until the&nbsp;<span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span>&nbsp;Ride Controller area is a rough surface with no impurities for the approved two-part adhesive to adhere to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please be sure to follow the adhesive manufacturer&#8217;s recommendations for primer and other surface preparation requirements on aluminum hulls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please review the list of approved MMAs paying attention to the need for primers based upon manufacturers recommendations for this substrate.
