The boat must never have been painted, repaired, or modified in any way.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If the boat does not meet these requirements, or if there is any uncertainty, follow\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/mechanical-installation-manual-750-1500-375a-and-525a\/8-prepare-hull\/8-5-grind-refit-installation-only\/\">Section 8.6<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sand down the gel coat with 60 grit sandpaper to remove the gloss surface.
