After the red cap is lifted, fully remove it by pulling and rocking back and forth slightly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use a pick tool to gently move the black plastic clips holding the pins and pull the pins out (remove item 2 from item 3 in the figure above).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"194\" height=\"248\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-574.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15450\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Loosen the Cable Gland from inside the hull to ensure the cable will be able to move freely.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>See this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uXTkm_XV2OY\">video<\/a> from Ampseal for best practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Removal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: For Ride 750-1500 systems, the front Blade Anode and bonding wires attached to the Blade, Actuator, and Seal Plate will need to be removed in order to remove the Blade and Seal Plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Remove the four (4) M8-1.25 x 20 mm Hex bolts holding the Blade in place.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"905\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/wp-content\/uploads\/Blade-Installation-Updated-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12287\" style=\"width:483px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/wp-content\/uploads\/Blade-Installation-Updated-1.png 1280w, https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/wp-content\/uploads\/Blade-Installation-Updated-1-768x543.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:24% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"231\" height=\"158\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-539.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14142 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong>ATTENTION:<\/strong> Once the Seal Plate is removed, the Actuator will be unsupported. Make sure to tighten each fastener to the specified torque. Torque values vary by Ride model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/seakeeper-ride-torque-specifications-smc\/\">Torque Specifications Ride 450-600<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/seakeeper-ride-torque-specifications-alu\/\">Torque Specifications Ride 750-1500<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Place the new Actuator in the Actuator Plate. Ensure the Actuator is in same orientation as it was mounted prior to removal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the Seal Plate back over the Actuator and secure it in place with two (2) M6-1.0 x 30mm Socket Head Cap Screws in wing positions. Apply Torque two (2) times to ensure fasteners are seated.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"660\" height=\"467\" src=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-579.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15455\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tighten the cable gland to ensure equipment is restored and water tight.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Re-pin the Actuator following the instructions in <a href=\"https:\/\/manuals.seakeeper.com\/ride\/seakeeper-ride-electrical-installation-manual-dual-quad\/8-wiring-and-terminating-cables\/8-3-distribution-module-wiring\/\">Section 8.3 of the Electrical Installation Manual<\/a>. GREEN\/YELLOW<\/strong>, GND (16 AWG)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(7 and 8 should be plugged.)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reprogram<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Actuator will need to be programmed and the Blade zeroed. Note: Exact fault numbers and labels may be different depending on the system and Actuator being replaced, but the process should be the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Turn on the <span translate=\"no\"><span translate=\"no\">Seakeeper<\/span><\/span> Ride system.
