2.1 Stability

This system is not intended, nor should it be expected, to provide underway dynamic stability beyond the limits of the hull itself. It is up to the captain of the vessel to ensure that the hull is maintained and operated in a safe manner, within the limits defined by the boat manufacturer.
Seakeeper Ride is not designed or recommended for vessels capable of meeting or exceeding speeds greater than 80 miles per hour (mph) (69.5 kts), and the system’s controls will restrict deployment entirely when operating at those speeds. The system is not a substitute for adequate hull stability and will not prevent instabilities like those caused by improper boat operation at high speeds. Neglecting to adhere to this recommendation may result in system detachment from the boat. Seakeeper Ride’s standard warranty excludes coverage for system damage attributable to operation at speeds of 80 MPH and greater.
